It's important that you vote correctly this Saturday. In a recent election, the
seat of Nepean was won by just 114 votes, but over a thousand votes couldn't be
included because they contained errors. Who knows? These votes could have changed
the results. When you vote, you'll be given two ballot papers. This smaller
paper is for the lower house. Put the number one in the box next to your first
choice then number all the other boxes in order of your preference.
This larger paper is for the upper house. Either vote for a party or group by
putting the number one in just one of the boxes above the line, or vote for
individual candidates by putting the numbers one to at least five in the
boxes below the line. You can continue numbering if you wish. Take your time to
vote correctly because your vote will help shape Victoria.
