all right to get started I just imported
a video clip into my media bin let's
begin by dragging the video clip onto
the timeline now to cut something out of
the middle of your clip drag the time
marker on the timeline to where you want
to start trimming your clip then click
the scissors button to make a cut of the
time workers position now move the time
marker to where you want to stop
trimming your clip click the scissors
button to make a cut at this position
select the clip you just cut out and
click the delete button to get rid of it
you can also just press the Delete key
on your keyboard now I'm just going to
drag my Clips back together instead of
having to drag your Clips back together
you can also hold down the shift key on
your keyboard while pressing delete to
ripple delete which automatically shifts
your clips together after the delete but
let's say you want to just trim the star
or end of your video clip to do that
just hover over at the beginning or end
of your video clip until your cursor
changes then drag the clips end to trim
it to your liking for more precise trim
position your cursor to where you want
to trim your clip to and then drag the
end or beginning of the clip to that
position alright and that's all there is
to cutting and trimming in Tamura
