my beard has been getting a little
scruffy and a little too long so you're
going to be getting the long waited how
to trim your beard video so I'm going to
show you how I trim my beard and I've
got a lot of questions about how to grow
your beard and in reality and like the
honest truth the only way you can grow
your beard is through genetics there's
no like secret way to grow a beard
mine just comes in naturally this way so
I guess I was very lucky when it came to
facial hair but I'll show you how I trim
mine you need three simple things to do
this I'm gonna be using my beard
clippers a bristle brush
and a pair of grooming scissors these
are going to use for like any stray
hairs or your mustache so I'm gonna be
using this Remington beard clipper I got
this at t.j.maxx I'm sure you can find
it there or online and I'm using the
guard setting as a number nine
so what I do first is I go against the
grain of the hair and that allows me to
get as close as I can to the skin
without taking too much off ever since I
was a kid I've been full of music
then I switch the guard to a longer
length and that allows me to blend the
hair on my chin into the hair on my
cheek this allows me to get a smooth
little transitional fade from long to
short that I like
when I trim my mustache I follow the
line of my upper lip and then I round
off the corners to shape
underneath I line everything up from
where my throat reaches the bottom of my
neck to give me a nice full beard look
my
ever since I was a kid I've been full of
music after that you just trim off all
the stragglers and you're good to go
alright and there you have it that is
how I trim my beard and shape it up I
don't touch anything here I just leave
the natural line that I was born with
but I leave my chin area longer than my
cheeks so that is why I changed the
guard a little bit uh and I trim my
mustache so it kind of uh lines up with
the ends of my lips that is also where I
find the marker where I keep it longer
on my chin so whatever it lines up with
the mustache is where I keep it longer
on the chin which keeps it all
symmetrical alright so I hope you

upset with it some people just simply
can't grow a beard it's not a big deal I
didn't really start growing my beard - I
was around 18 or 19 that's when it
actually started coming in so if you're
