Police fitness test - can you keep up?

okay then can you just listen in for me

please the test you'll be conducting

today is a multi-stage fitness test

otherwise known as the beep test the

test is progressive it gets marginally

quicker every time the level increases

you're required to run from one end of

the 50 meter area to the other in time

of the beep the 15 meter area is marked

eight by two red lines and four blue

cones to each end the beeps are sounded

by an audio system there is no benefit

in running ahead of the beeps and you

will be warned if you continually do

you're required to pass or touch the

line we want or both feet then wait for

the beep before moving off you should

keep going until you reach the required

level and told to stop by myself or

piece in as bit or you are physically

exhausted to carry on the level that

you're required to achieve is five point

four you must complete the entire test

warning procedures if you fail to touch

the line on or before the beep or run

ahead of the beep a first warning will

be given the warning will sound like

number ten first warning if you're then

failed to touch the next consecutive

line on or before the beep or continue

to run ahead of the beep a second

warning will be given that will sound

like number ten second warning if you

fail to touch the third consecutive line

on or before the beep or continue to run

ahead of the beep your test will end

that will sound like number ten end of

test stop running however if you alter

your first or second warning you rectify

your pace and touch the line on or

before the beep the previous warnings

are canceled each time you fail to touch

the line in time of the bleep a warning

shall be given any questions I will now

give you a demonstration of the test

over the line with both feet okay
