hi everyone today I thought we'd go over
how to tie the crown and Diamond knot in
four strands they make these nice cube
shaped knots
I've been using them to finish off some
keychains I've been making they look
good in a single color and also in two
colors so follow along to the end
because I think these are very
attractive not so we'll start off with
our crown law and the way we tie that is
to take each strand over the Strand next
to it and then the last strand will go
down through first loop that we made so
that's our crown knot and I'm going to
draw this together but I'm not going to
tighten it all the way I just want to
leave a gap here at the top and then we
look at the side of the knot all you'll
see is there's two legs of this crown
coming up and then there's this strand
running down through or in between those
two legs we want to do is just hold that
strand that runs down just hold it with
your thumb
want to take the Strand that's running
down to the left of that one over that
strand we want to go around these two
legs and then on the second leg we want
to tuck it up through and underneath the
Strand that that second leg encompasses
and then up through the center of that
crown
and then the strand that our thumb is
holding will be the next strand that
we're going to be using so that will be
our next working strand so we look here
here is one of the strands of the crown
and another strand of the crown and this
is the strand running down in between it
so we just want to hold that in place
then we'll take the Strand our thumb was
just on all the one to the left over
that strand and then we want to take it
around these two legs and on the second
leg we want to take it around and
underneath the Strand that that second
leg is encompassing and then up through
very center of the crown Mott and we can
move to the next strand across here we
have one strand of the crown going up
and the second strand of the crown going
up and this is the Strand that runs down
through those two legs of the crown so
we just want to hold that in place with
our thumb and then using the Strand that
our thumb was just on if you want to
come over that strand around those two
legs and on the second leg we want to go
around it and underneath the Strand that
that second leg encompasses and then up
through the center of the crown mob and
then we have one more to go
this is our last one and this
the one where we have to be careful
because we have no vertical strand
running down through anymore because
we've already wrapped this around the
knot so find your two vertical legs in
this case it's the red one here and this
yellow one and this is the strand
running in between those two legs so we
have to go over that strand even though
it's really coming around and up through
not so we go over that one and then here
is our second leg we want to go around
that second leg and underneath the
strand it encompasses and then up
through the center of the crown lock and
then we can draw the whole knot together
and we just need to pull on each of the
four strands to tighten it up and you
should end up with your four strand
crown and diamond lock please share this
video because that allows me to keep
creating content for you guys thanks for
