hi i am ross NC from weathertech and
today i'm going to restore
comes here and what's happened is that
tough girls come off this Brown to cope
and leather suite of furniture and
probably was clean back to make sure all
the grease of all it dark and all has
removed from the leather surface and
then mix up a color to match the
original color along here or it hasn't
been worn
reapply that excuse me would have
finished match up machine fire protector
and you've got a whole new surface in
your couch it's the same process that's
used in factories for covering the other
so it's a very permanent type of fix and
then it's going to show you to the steps
I'm gonna start off cleaning the leather
couch with this ultra leather shampoo
this is a foam base water-based and
leather cleaner and you basically find
out your leather couches I'll show you
now and that is basically the easiest
and best way of cleaning all the the
dirt sand surface grime off your leather
surface so all you need to do to clean
your leather surface please firstly at
the time cloth bucket of water first you
gonna wet the surface
eventually one of these are the dish
clubs these are very handy for flicking
out the dirt you're not going to be
applying much pressure with this with
this thing it's really just agitate your
foam cleaner into surface so spray on
your home cleaner going

surface on this leather couch it very
badly damaged so something that's going
to come off containment and that means

that's on top of here is going to be
removed so I've got a good surface then
to work with when I'm recording the
couch

and then wipe it off you can see quite a
lot of that top colors come off there if
you find this is happening to you at
home when you're cleaning your couch and
it's best to stop this is happening
because this is a restoration and this
top coat is already damaged and very
loose so it's coming off

top coat for general to show you now as
we go to this video so inside surface
clean it's gonna have a lot cleaning
around there as well to take away any
grease and then is prepped and ready for
recovering
know so I've just came back there hold
outer surface here at the couch and you
can see quite a lot of the top corners
come on that's completely normal as
Tucker was not very well snobs in
leather so if this is happening when
you're at home it's best to stop and
give us a call and it's more of a
restoration job as a cleaning job so

shouldn't have color coming off the
couch when you're cleaning it if it does
you've got a problem in Nietzsche and
restored it has only just tear it all
the time and eventually you end up with
this type of couch so it's best to and
keep your couch clean keep it protected
it's going to stop this problem from
happening okay so other that my color
matched up here which it's the top coat
with this couch and what I'm going to
apply a few layers on to it first to get
a base coat and then use a few different
techniques to get the mottling effect
which were matching with the rest of the
couch so you got a nice and all-over
finish and with the color it's just a
matter of and applying it on the same
leather cloth just like this and it's
always good to keep the car for any wet
so I always have a pocket of water just
here so if there's already like you're
getting a very thin layer of color on as
soon as you've invited me here that's a
nice even quote she's get into the seams
just use a hairdryer
then you dry that off like that but it's
gonna take quite a lot of cold to get
this up to 11 where it's dark enough and
then it's going to be a mortal effect
and so it's going to take a bit of time
do that okay

restoration
now and took a couple of layers to build
up the colors different color different
tones so he's been modeling effect to
try and replicate their original color
and what's the afternoon I was just put
a finish on to this which matches up the
sheen of the rest of the coat so look at
the shiny in the moment with toilet down
with a matte finish and then apply a
protector and that's it
