going to talk about today that will for
sure get your dogs to lose weight

so today i'm here with murphy and he is
a 210
pound chocolate lab so his owners came
to me to help him lose weight and the
reason i'm making this video is because
we all know that fat humans and fat dogs
don't live as long and i want your pets
to live as long as possible so i want
this information out there for you guys
so you guys can help your dogs live as
long as they can and have the best
quality of life
all right so let's get into this murphy
is super cute just rolling over on his
back here look at him totally having a
fun time here
so his owners have tried exercising in
more they send him to our daycare here
at clint moore to help him lose weight
but it's just not cutting it so the next
thing is changing his diet so the two
diets that i'm going to talk to you guys
about
are wd from hills and purina om so these
two diets are weight management diets wd
is a diabetic diet that we use that has
low sugars in it for diabetics and then
purina om is an overweight management
diet
so simply by looking at the bag wd has
255 kcals per cup
and om has 218 kcals per cup
so let's compare that to another
prescription diet which is also for um
intestinal digestive care
so hills id
and if we look at the back of this bag
it tells us
oh god
that there are
336 kcals per cup so that's almost 100
calories more than these two diets here
that i'm recommending for weight loss so
i don't have diets with me that are from
petsmart but your other diets for
working dogs or your other just adult
diets those calories i bet are gonna be
way more than these diets so you need to
go to your veterinarian to get one of
these diets you're not gonna find it at
petsmart or petco or at any grocery
store these are prescription diets to
help your dogs lose weight and they're
totally worth it all right guys so if
exercise didn't get the weight off your
dog and you also changed their treats
and that still didn't work i've given
you two diets in this video that are
lowering calories that will get your dog
to lose weight so you're still going to
feed them as much as you normally do and
as often as you normally feed them
they're going to be eating lower
calories and they're going to lose
