how you can request a desk copy so in
order to request desk copy
you need to go to our higher end catalog
it's pretty simple if you just go ahead
and google pearson higher-ed chances are
it'll take you to the first page which
is just pearson comm slash higher ed or
appears in higher ed calm so you'll see
right here if there's pearson higher ed
they will all take you to the same place
so if i go to higher ed subject catalog
you'll see Pearson comm here's in higher
ed what you want to do is you can do two
things you can either do a search and
you can put in the actual text if you
know the title or author of the text
that you're looking for or you can do a
search based on the discipline so in
this case I am looking for a
biochemistry text that I want to request
so I'm going to go into chemistry and
then from there I'm going to look for
biochemistry and here we go it's a two
semester course and I can't remember the
name but here it is it's Appling so I
click on biochemistry and you'll see it
has all the information for this title
specifically where it's the features the
contents resources etc but what you'll
also notice is if you're an educator you
can go right here and request a desk
copy so I clicked on this what it's
gonna do is gonna ask you to put in some
information the reason why we want to do
it this way is one it provides the ISBN
so that I can place the order correctly
and then what's also nice is whenever
you go to the next page and you proceed
once you fill in all of the information
it'll ask for the mailing address this
allows us to send it to the correct
mailing address so that if you don't
want it to be sent to the school address
you can always have it sent to a home
address and this allows me to place the
order correctly so again if you go to
Pearson higher ed calm it'll take you to
this page or you can always say for
example you know you're looking for a
Martin gate xed you know it's a
martingale you just can't remember the
actual title because she has a few here
you can go I just typed in Martin gate
shows all of her titles and
once you click on the page specifically
for that text all you want to do is
click on request a copy hope this helps
