i feel so scared and paranoid
being home alone at night
on a scale of 0 to 10 how true does that
statement feel to you
right now

let's get started by tapping on the
karate chop point and
repeat after me
even though i feel so scared being home
alone at night
i accept myself and how i feel
even though being home alone at night
makes me feel
so paranoid
i accept how i feel and i'm open to
feeling
safe and secure
[Music]
even though i feel like something bad is
going to happen when i'm home alone at
night
i deeply and truly accept myself
and how i feel about this
this scared feeling
i feel so paranoid
i just feel so scared being here all
alone
i feel like something bad is going to
happen
something about being home alone at
night
it's just so quiet and so eerie
it makes me feel so anxious and scared
this fear this feeling in my body
i know that i'm not alone with this
feeling
[Music]
there are so many people of all ages
[Music]
who feel anxious when they're home alone
[Music]
but still something about the quietness
and the darkness
[Music]
it just makes me feel like i'm about to
be caught off guard
it makes me feel on edge and like my
brain
can't relax
i just want to feel calm secure
and relaxed
even if something happened in the past
that may have legitimately scared me
and i was home alone at night when it
happened
i'm ready to accept that that was the
past
and that right now i am safe
[Music]
i choose to release any fear and tension
from the deepest cells of my body
and i open myself up to feeling relaxed
comfortable and secure
my mind and body are both safe
right now
and i choose to hold on to this safe
feeling
with each deep breath that i take
i let go of any stressed or paranoid
feelings
[Music]
i have the power to take control of how
i feel
and i choose to feel safe and relaxed
any anxiety that i felt was based on a
story
in my mind
and that story doesn't exist in reality
right now
[Music]
breathing out any residual tension or
fear
that's left within my body
and breathing in the feeling of safety
and security
and the ease that is my reality
right here and right now
take a deep breath have a sip of water
if you have one nearby
and let's repeat that starting statement
i feel so paranoid and scared
being home alone at night
on a scale of 0 to 10 how true does that
statement feel to you
now if the feeling is still strong then
you can continue tapping
until it neutralizes or until another
emotion takes over
remember that everybody processes things
differently
and it's okay to take as long as you
need
in order to feel better or calmer than
you did before we started
