what's up everyone welcome to another
video in this video i'm going to show
you how to mine litecoin using the
unminimal miner software
and then turn around and stake it on
hotbit and earn around eight percent apy
let's roll that intro
the first step is to secure a litecoin
wallet address
i like to use a wallet where i can turn
around and stake my cryptocurrencies and
earn passive income so in this case
we're using hotbit if you don't have a
hotbed account already have a direct
signup link in the video description
once you sign up if you go up to the
wallet tab and click on deposit and from
this drop down menu just start typing
ltc
and select litecoin and here we can see
our litecoin deposit address that we'll
need later on in the video to start
mining with the next step is to open up
your start menu
and start typing windows security select
it then select
virus and threat protection click on
manage settings scroll down and click on
add or remove exclusions
click add an exclusion and click on
folder browse the download section
right click and create a new folder
we'll just call it unmindable
double-click the folder we just created
and click select folder click yes when
prompted now we've created a windows
security
exclusion so that way the unminable
miner doesn't get flagged as malware
even though it isn't
next we need to download the unminable
miner software i have a direct download
link in the video description once you
click on it click on the download tab
right click on the packed version and
click on open link in new tab
browse the downloads section and
double-click the folder we just created
and click save within it once downloaded
click on show in folder
right click on the zip file and extract
it once extracted double click the
program to run it click continue
here we can select graphics card or cpu
if you have a gaming computer or
high-end graphics card you're gonna
wanna
mine with your graphics card to get the
most profits otherwise if you're on an
old laptop or computer or simply just
don't have a good graphics card you're
gonna wanna select
cpu instead i'll show you both methods
first we'll start with graphics card and
click next here from the drop down we'll
start typing
ltc and select litecoin and here where
it says enter your address
we'll put our hotbit wallet address so
we'll go back to hotbit
and click on copy address then we'll
press ctrl v to paste it in
and click start just give it a minute to
ramp up and just like that you can see
we're getting around 30 mega hashes and
our mining litecoin with our gpu
if you click on the advanced settings
gearhead you can select your mining
intensity here so if you're gaming or
doing other things in the background
you're going to want to select
low intensity mining but otherwise keep
it on high intensity mining for the most
profits and then you can also set your
gpu mining algorithm so if you have a
graphics card with three gigabytes or
more of memory then you're going to want
to select ethereum classic
but if your graphics card has four
gigabytes of memory or more you're
probably going to want to select each
hash which is mining ethereum and if you
change any of these settings simply
click save and restart
next i'll show you how to mine with your
cpu instead we'll click back
click back again select cpu click next
litecoin and our wallet address are
already saved so we'll just click on
start just give it a minute to ramp up
and now you can see we're mining
litecoin with our cpu instead if you're
wondering about the payment you can see
here it says your payment will be sent
automatically from 0.044 litecoin so
once we hit this threshold the litecoin
will automatically be sent to the wallet
address that we specified if we click on
this website button here it'll open up
this web dashboard where we have our
total balance we can check on or off to
pay
automatically we can find and send our
referral code and we can also view
our mining history and mining charts
once you've mined a little bit of
litecoin if you go back to hotbit and
click on the investment tab
and then start typing ltc you can see
here we have a couple different
staking options and we can earn around
eight percent apy
the main difference is the minimum
purchase amount so this may be a factor
on which one you go with we're gonna go
with the d5 smart pool and just click on
detail then we'll click on asset
transfer and here we can transfer our
litecoin from our normal account to our
investment account instantly so we'll
type in the amount of litecoin we want
to transfer here
and just click on transfer then once we
do that we'll type the same amount here
and click on purchase now
and that's all there is to it once we do
that and click on purchase now
we'll be earning around eight percent
apy on our litecoin to give you an idea
of how much daily passive income you'll
be earning
if you go to the investment tab again
and then click on assets
you can see here a different
cryptocurrency i'm staking called flm
i currently have 998 of them i'm getting
around to 20
apy which is generating me 0.56 flm a
day and i've earned almost 13 flm so far
that i can just click this redeem button
at any time to redeem that's all i got
