Need up to 30 seconds to load.
hi there mines Vince from my mate Vince
calm and in this video today I'm going
to show you how you can mirror your
mobile cell phone screen onto the TV so
you can watch your photos and videos and
whatever else you've got on your mobile
cellphone on the biggest screen now the
phone is an Android phone and the TV is
an LG TV and neither of them are
connected to the Internet so although
I've got Wi-Fi turned on it's not
actually connected to any Wi-Fi at the
moment and the same thing for the TV
this TV has never been connected up to
Wi-Fi but yet you will still be able to
use this feature so what we need to do
is we need to cast the screen onto the
TV so we can use two fingers down from
the top on some phones it will be just
once and then you've got an option here
for cast and you can just press that
button here another way of doing it is
go into your Settings icon
pressing that and then go down to
display and if you have a look around
there will be another part which will
say car so you can tap that button there
and again it will come up with cast now
at the moment nothing's highlighted I
have previously connected this phone to
this TV so it's up here but it's
unavailable because I haven't yet set it
up on the TV so if you have a look at
the TV remote control it's a little
symbol here that looks like a cable so
we're going to press that symbol and
it's going to bring up some icons in the
right-hand side we need to use the down
arrow and we need to go down to where it
says screen share and then we need to
press ok so right now it says screen
share and I'm going to press ok and it's
going to bring up this screen here and
right now you can see now that it's not
blanked out anymore you can see now that
it is available to tap so all we have to
do is press that one there LG TV and it
will say connecting right now you can
see the Wi-Fi symbol there and it's
moving back and forth in about 15 or 20
seconds it will connect and right now
you can see that my phone is now
mirrored on the TV so whatever we do now
will come up on the TV and as you can
see the lag is quite good it is behind
so it's going to be no good for playing
games but for watching videos and
pictures it will be absolutely fine
so if I was to go to camera
you can see now you've got a live image
and if I go to previous pictures you can
see now that it will bring the picture
up there so if you've got pictures to
share it's nice to be able to do it this
way now to disconnect it's really
straightforward all we've got to do is
again one or two fingers down from the
top depending on your phone and tap that
one or you can go to the cast option
that I showed you through settings and
press disconnect but if I press that one
there you will see now it's brought up
here and all I've got to do is press the
X here and now it is disconnected and
the TV is back to normal and it says at
the top there your device is
disconnected so now the phone's back to
normal and the TV is back to normal by
just pressing exit and there we goes
back to normal TV again so I hope you
enjoyed the video please give it a
thumbs up if you liked it and please
subscribe for more how-to videos take
care bye now
