today I want to show you how to add a
website link to your YouTube page and
what I'm talking about is up on the
upper part of your actual YouTube
channel we're gonna add a little link up
here where people can click on it and
it'll take them right to your website so
let's get started I'm gonna go back to
the main YouTube home page okay what's
on the main page of YouTube just make
sure you are logged in in the upper
right hand corner and then you're gonna
click on your photo and we're looking
for my channel let's click on that
alright once on my channel you want to
hit customize channel and then we're
going to do is hover over your channel
art here and we're gonna look for this
little pencil in the upper right hand
corner and let's click once and we're
gonna edit links okay once on this page
you need to make sure you scroll up and
we're looking for customize channel
let's click on that now scroll down just
a little bit and you're looking for
links and you want to click the Add
button so let me hit that and then right
here I'm just gonna type in website and
then over here I'm going to actually add
my URL to my website and you usually
want to do is put the HTTPS semicolon
for slash floor slash and then add your
website in there to make that work right
so let me go ahead and type that in real
quick okay once you have your website
added in you want to go ahead and hit
done okay you should see it pop up right
here so if you click on it you could
test it this is one way to test it or if
you come up to the top because she is
show up right here at the bottom of your
channel art so let me just go ahead and
click on it make sure it works and it
does it takes me right to the web site I
would want to direct people to so
