everyone hit me from smoky Hills outdoor
store and go ice fish calm and I get a
question a lot what do I do if I have
one satellite receiver but I have two
TVs and my satellite receive it only has
one HDMI output well what we gonna show
you is the HDMI splitter it's a newer
product that has a little pigtail on it
to make things simple and what I'm doing
this is I'm running one receive it I
happen to be running a Wally which is
Dish Network with 1 HDMI output and as
you can see I have TV on the front TV
and on the big rear TV I have the exact
same image on there right now and
obviously we don't have a satellite
connected but as you can see the
receiver is duplicating the image so let
me show you what product I want to use
for that so this is it it's a pretty
inexpensive way to do this you have the
HDMI splitter now there is a lot of
confusion on these please know that most
HDMI splitters that you are buying is
going to take one TV and use two input
devices like let's you have a
Playstation and the Xbox you're sending
it to one TV this is the opposite way
you have one device and you want to send
it to two TVs it's not that common to
see these so make sure you get the right
product first things first
quite simply it's got the little input
right here this right here is going to
go into the back of your receiver right
into the HDMI then if I flip this around
you'll see I have two outputs very
simple all I have to do is run on HDMI
from this output to my one TV that
output to my other TV so let's plug this
in it's quite simple first thing I'm
gonna do so I'm gonna grab my two HDMI
cables and I plug in my HDMI cables into
the back apologize it's tight here and
then this is gonna go into my receiver
which is always a little bit more
complicated than what you want it to be
and you're gonna see that this lights up
so now I have my three lights so it
recognize that there's power coming from
the receiver into the unit
and then the two HDMI right down to the
TV and that's the HDMI splitter pretty
simple stuff what's really well there's
a lot of people with two TVs one receive
