what is going on everybody and in this
video I want to talk about the Apple TV
obviously and the way how you can
connect your iPhone to your Apple TV and
all of the possible things you can do
with these two devices connected so
let's dive into this video of right
there are actually three ways how you
can connect the iPhone to the Apple TV
and all of them are pretty much
connected together but every single way
is different and there are also a couple
of things you should know about it
before you start doing this and the
first one I would say is that everything
is secure and everything is backed up
with the passcode that means that every
time you will try to connect the iPhone
or a brand-new iPhone to a new Apple TV
you will see a passcode that you need to
type on your iPhone that you will see on
the Apple TV of course that is here
because of the security issues and
because if they don't want you to
connect to random Apple TV you see
somewhere in a public that's why the
security needs to be here so the very
first way how you can achieve the
connectivity of these two devices is by
using a feature which is called screen
mirroring and that is very easy so you
need to head over to the control center
of your iPhone and make sure you see the
screen mirroring option so let me come
back and this is the screen mirroring
you can see that it has searched for the
Apple TV's that are nearby so I need to
click on this one this is my Apple TV
and you can see on the bag that I have
everything that I can see on my phone
displaying on the Apple TV and super
simple but it works so well because I
have already set it up before and that
means that I have gone through the
security and the passcode process now
whatever I do on my iPhone is going to
be shown on the screen and it also works
into landscape mode so if I open up
anything that works in the landscape for
example if I go to the documents and
enable screen rotation you can see that
I phone the phone on its side you can
see that the entire screen is filled
with the content and I think this is
really useful by the way you can use it
with any Apple device you just have to
make sure that it runs the latest
operating system or in May you have to
make sure that it is going to
able to pair with the Apple TV but
pretty much every single device from
Apple should be able to do this so let
me see this is this this is the iPad
Mini and as you can see back on the
screen I'm already connected everything
is working fine so yeah this is how it
works so now the second option is to use
a feature from Apple which is called
airplay and it's pretty much very
similar to the screen mirroring but but
instead of showing everything what you
see on your screen you are only showing
different parts or something that you
want
let me explain if you for example want
to show someone some photos whenever it
may be if you just want to show this you
don't want to show everything you see on
your phone you're not going to enable
the screen mirroring but you're gonna go
to this share option and click on the
airplane now of course click on the
Apple TV and now all you can see is the
video if you come back to this you're
not seeing anything you're not seeing
all of the videos if I come back to the
home screen you're not seeing the home
screen but you are only seeing this
particular video or something that I
want to show this applies not only to
photos and videos in your camera you can
use it in third-party apps as well and
you can use it for music and other types
of media too and the final way how you
can connect these two devices is by
using if the remote control on the
iPhone so technically it is another way
of this connectivity it means that in
case you don't have the classic remote
control by Apple you can also use your
iPhone and it's really useful as well
because it allows you to keep track of
everything on your phone to you but for
this you need to download an app from
the app store of course it is free to
download it's called Apple TV remote and
with this you can also connect and
remote control your Apple TV just like I
was already talking about it you need to
type in the passcode that you can see on
the Apple TV in order to make sure it's
going to work and right now it is very
simple for me to just scroll through
using just like normally on the Apple TV
technically these devices are now
connected so this will be everything
