and i promised you to show uh to show
you how to
link that paypal account to your m-pesa
so that you can be able to transfer
money directly from your m-pesa
to your paypal account and vice versa so
that is what we are going to do for this
video
and let's get started so all you need to
do is to open a new tab
and then type paypal
m-pesa okay

and then click on that link
and it's going to direct you to this
page
okay so what you need to do is to click
on get started

okay so there's some documentation here
please go through it
you can read the privacy statement and
after you have done so
please click on agree

okay so uh
we need to confirm our email address
so let me confirm my email address so if
you have also not confirmed your email
address
you can click on here or
go to your inbox and click on the
verification
link that is there and you will have
confirmed your email address
so i have confirmed my email address
so the next step that i need to take
is to insert my phone number
the phone number that you used in
registration
when you are creating a new paypal
account you are requested
to submit your phone number so please
ensure that
this is the same phone number
as the one you used when you are
registering a new account
so my phone number is so that is my
phone number
so and then click on link your accounts
okay so there's another step that we
need
to undertake so there's a confirmation
code that
should be sent to that phone number so
uh please check your your phone
for that confirmation code so mine
is so as 70 17
so that was my confirmation code so
after that click on confirm
and there you are you are now done so
you can
click on start using the service
and now you are mpesa has been linked to
your paypal account so you are free now
to send money to paypal to withdraw from
paypal
and so on so if you want to top up
your paypal account or rather to
transfer money from your employer to
your paypal
you just click on top up to paypal
and there's a procedure that you're
supposed to follow
so what you need to do is to

there's a simple calculator here for
converting
kenya shillings into u.s dollars so if i
want to transfer
500 kenya shillings all right
or rather let's say if i want to
transfer
50 dollars so
i need to to get the amount in kenya
shilling so just come here and type
50 u.s dollars and then click on
calculate
so you see that is 5654 kenya shillings
so after you have known that you need
now to transfer five
thousand six hundred and fifty four
kenya shillings
you go to your m presser and then click
on leap an imperson
and then pay bill the pay bill number
is 8008
sorry that is the business number the
paypal business number
and then your account number is your
phone number
and that and by doing that you will have
transferred money to your paypal account
and it should reflect on your paypal
account
