in this video i'll show you two
different ways that you can add your
amazon affiliate link to your facebook
page so you can monetize your facebook
audience so if you've got a facebook
page i'm assuming that it's in a
specific niche i've just created an
example one in the camping niche so i'm
going to show you with this page here so
i've just created this page it's got
nothing on it and i'm going to show you
now how you can add affiliate links so
what we're first going to do is we're
going to get a product so to do that
we're going to go to amazon and we're
just going to go ahead and search for an
affiliate product now this video assumes
that you already have an amazon
affiliate account so i'm just going to
go ahead and search for camping
and as an example here we're going to
promote this camping sleeping bag so i'm
going to open this and here is it you
can see it's 39.
now if you've got an amazon affiliate
account already and you've got it logged
in you'll have this bar up at the top
here which is amazon associates site
stripe go ahead and go to get link and
then click on text
and we can then copy the short link to
this product once we've done that we can
then go back to our facebook profile
here and now we can go ahead and promote
it now there are two ways that you can
do it i'll show you the way that you can
promote it on your facebook feed first
so to promote it on your facebook feed
you're going to need a photo so you can
go ahead and find a photo my favorite
place to get free non-copyright photos
is unsplash.com
and i'm just going to go ahead and type
in camping
now i'm just going to grab an image so
i'll download this one and it will
download to my computer i can now go
back to facebook and upload it so if we
scroll down and create a post we can
then go ahead and
add in
an image
so add a photo choose the photo we've
just downloaded and then if we wanted to
go ahead and add the affiliate link we
could do so we could give it a caption
or we could just go ahead and like
coldly promote the affiliate link to our
audience
so i'm going to go ahead and paste in
the affiliate link so here it is i then
might want to write something like the
best
sleeping mat for camping
and you obviously got your link here now
whatever you write it doesn't matter as
long as you've got the link and you can
then post that so now we've got an image
which increases engagement and gets
people people's attention and you've got
your link to your
campaign map when people open it here
it's going to redirect them to amazon
and here you go here is your product and
when people buy it or buy anything after
clicking on that link you're going to
earn a commission so that's how you can
promote one item but now i'm going to
show you how you can promote like your
recommended gear on facebook like if you
want to recommend a bunch of different
products so to do that you want to go to
a website called linktree which is
essentially a free landing page builder
which allows you to create a free
landing page with multiple affiliate
links i've made videos on it before but
essentially if you go here and you go
sign up for free you can sign up for a
free account once you've signed up it
will look something like this and you
can now add new links so let's say we
wanted to promote the
camping mat so we will type in here
camping mat
and we will then paste in the url of
that campaign map
and it will then add that link to
our landing page here so then if we
wanted to preview the landing page we
could click on the link in the top right
hand corner
and you can see we've got campaign map
and you can add images and things like
that to this landing page you can add
more than one product and once you've
got enough products on there that you're
happy to recommend you paste you copy
your url then once you've got the link
copied you want to go ahead and open up
a new tab and we're just going to go
ahead and shorten it with bit.ly
so bitly is a free url shortening
service and it means you can add your
link to your facebook page so go ahead
and scroll down
and just enter in your link tree link
here and shorten it and what we're doing
is we're shortening the link
so here it is and we can then copy this
custom url then if we go back to
facebook we can scroll down and we can
go to the enter website tab and we can
just simply go ahead and enter in our
website
then you can see our changes have been
saved so now when you preview the page
you can see you've got your link here
and when people click on it it's going
to go to your link free profile where
you can promote a range of different
affiliate products if that helped please
