hi guys today we're going to learn how

to knit a cable baby blanket we will be

using BRR not baby sport yarn color

white and we will be using size six

needles you can use the straight ones or

the circle

so the first thing we're going to do is

cast on 210 stitches so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

9 10 okay guys so after we cast on 210

stitches we will now start to knit okay

so we will slip off the first one and

then we will knit all the stitches on

the first row

after you finish the first row I'll show

you what to do next

okay guys on the next row we'll slip off

the first stitch

and we will knit all the stitches for

one row

repeat rows 1 & 2 4 7 rows and then I'll

show you what to do next ok guys so when

we get to this point we'll slip off the

first stitch knit 4 purl 2

next 6

keep repeating that for the entire row

guys when we get to the end of the row

we will purl two knit five

turn our work around sip off the first

stitch knit for

then we follow the pattern that we

already established on the previous row

so knit these two purl these six

net for

knit 4 purl 6

net for keep doing that for the entire

row so this is the front of your blanket

and this is the back okay guys so let me

get towards the end of the row we will

knit these two and knit these five as

well

we will repeat the last two rows until

we have a total of six okay so one two

when we get six of these we will knit a

row cables okay guys so after we finish

six rows and now we're going to row

seven one two three four five six we

slip off the first stitch we knit four

grab the cable needle or if you're going

to have a cable needle just grab a

regular needle grab three stitches on

the cable needle and move on to the

front knit three go back to the three

stitches on the cable needle knit those

will do another cable so slip off the

first stitch knit 4 purl 2 grab the

cable needle slip off three stitches

move on to the front

knit three go back to the cable needle

and the three stitches on it

and this is how your blanket will look

like at this point so keep doing a row

of cables after every 14 rows and I'll

check back with you later okay guys so

after we finish 18 rows of cables and we

repeat rows 8 & 9 six times nice time to

work on finishing the blanket so we will

knit all the stitches for one row

after you finish this role I will show

you what to do next okay guys so now we

will turn our work and we will knit all

these stitches on this row as well and

we will keep doing that until we finish

a total of seven rows and when we finish

seven I will show you what to do next

okay guys so after we finished all the

cables we will finish seven rows of

knitting all the stitches and our work

will look like this in the front of the

blanket and like this in the back of the

blanket so what we need to do now is

finish the blanket we'll take the first

two stitches and we will knit them

together into one and then we will take

that stitch and the stitch next to it

and get it together and again that

stitch and the stitch next to it and it

together and we'll keep doing that for

the entire row

this is how the front looks right now

so again always net the first two

together

keep doing that and I'll check back with

you later okay guys so let me get to the

end and we are left with only one stitch

we'll expand it and we will put our yarn

through it yes and we will tighten it

cut it here and lose ends and then the

front of the blanket will look like this

and the back will look like that okay
