hi welcome back to burn at home today
I'm going to show you how to knit one
through the back flu
written as k1 TBL I'm using burn at
supervalue as my yarn and a set of 5
millimeter knitting needles to make this
stitch you're going to do exactly what
the stitch says you're going to do
you're actually going to knit through
the back of the loop instead of the
front of the loop so normally when you
make a knit stitch this is what you do I
want you to come in from the right
through to the back of the loop just
like that and you can see that I've gone
through the back of the loop you want to
take your yarn and wrap it around your
needle just like you normally would for
a knit stitch pull that loop forward and
drop it off your needle so that was knit
one through the back loop so let's see
that again I'm going to come in through
to the back loop you want to wrap your
yarn around just like you would for a
regular knit stitch pull through and
slip that off and that's all there is to
it
okay so if we look at our stitches here
you can see right here these stitches
right here are regular knit stitches if
you look carefully these last two
stitches were knitted through the back
loop and you can see that the twist is
created so it creates a twisted stitch
there and that's the effect you get so
that's all there is to it and I hope to
see you again epinet calm
