hey everybody
i'm here today to show you and tell you
how to install a water filter just like
this
on a keurig k supreme coffee machine
just like this one right here it's
actually a really really easy process
and in this easy tutorial i'll show you
exactly how to do it now first and
foremost i'm gonna place this back in
the water um this came with the coffee
machine okay it came inside of a bag and
on the on the bag that had the water
filter inside of it it said to soak it
in in water for five minutes which i did
you can see there's a little bit of
sediment in the water and the next thing
that it's said to do was rinse it under
water for 60 seconds so i'm going to
take a look at my camera timer right
here so i know when i started i'm going
to rinse it under water for about 60
seconds okay and while i'm missing it
i'll explain
what the water filter does okay so
essentially you're going to be putting
water inside of your water tank
reservoir on your k supreme coffee
machine right here and that water will
eventually make its way into your coffee
cup okay now if you don't have a filter
there the water is going to get sucked
down into this intake down over here and
it's going to make its way into your
coffee mug
without being filtered okay it's just
going to be regular water making its way
through when you have a filter like this
installed properly what happens is it
filters the water and it removes some of
the um you know things in the water that
you might not necessarily want inside of
your coffee i'm going to take a look at
my timer see where we're at i actually
don't remember when i started but i
think we're about like 10 seconds the
way give or take just judging by my
internal flop in addition to the um
water filter you actually need the
holder that you see right here and this
all came with the k-supreme uh machine i
believe it's been about 60 seconds okay
give or take okay so if you take a look
now i've done what the bag has
instructed me to do i'm going to just
empty this into the sink um which was to
allow this to soak in water for five
minutes and then rinse it under running
water for 60 seconds now it's going to
be placed inside of this uh holder right
here so we're going to remove the bottom
cap just like this of this holder like
this okay so i just press down on either
side i'm pulling it out like that okay
so we've removed the bottom cap and then
this goes in here now you'll notice it
doesn't fit this way because it has that
lip on the edge there right so it only
goes in one way okay so it's going to go
in this way like this okay just like
that all right and we're going to place
this
lid cap whatever you want to call it
back in place until it clicks just like
that so now what we have is we have uh
the water filter inside of this
container um and it's a it's sort of
like a passageway for the water to pass
through now you'll notice in here when
if i turn the k supreme coffee machine
like the way that that rhymes you'll see
that there's an intake at the bottom now
this actually fits directly over that so
i'm going to remove the lid of the water
reservoir i'm going to take my water
filter i'm going to place it down there
and it has a nice long handle which is
very convenient and i'm going to place
it on top of the intake like that okay
and i'm just going to click it in place
let's get a little zoom let's get a
little zoom effect right there let's
check that okay so i'm going to click it
in place you're going to hear it click
in place i'll do it with this hand right
here
there you go you can give it a little
wiggle just to make sure that it's like
it's in place nicely okay and we're good
to go i'm going to zoom out now um so as
you can see that is how to install
a water filter on a keurig k supreme
coffee machine and now what happens is
the water goes in to that sort of
channel way right there goes through the
filter and then ends up in your cup so
you're getting filtered water for your
coffee that's it if you like this video
