how to download The Sims 4 on a PC or

this video I'm going to show you how to
download and install the Sims 4 on your
PC or laptop for free so if you're
trying to play The Sims 4 on your
computer in this tutorial I'll show you
how to easily do that for free all right
so to get started the first thing we
want to do is simply open up a browser
on your PC or laptop and navigate to
thesims4.com so go ahead and go to that
once you go there you'll be brought to
ea.com which is the company that owns
The Sims 4 and all we need to do here is
simply go open to the top right where it
says play for free
there are several different ways you can
play this including on your Playstation
Xbox or Mac now you can do it through
Steam but you'll still have to download
and install the EA app on your computer
so what I recommend doing is just going
straight to that so go ahead and select
EA app for Windows
once it loads scroll down and we just
want to select download the EA app save
the EA app installer to your computer
and then go ahead and open up that
installer
once it opens up right here go ahead and
select let's go
it'll then start downloading stuff for
the EA app and then installing it now
once the EA app actually gets installed
you need to sign into your EA account
and you can use several different apps
to do that or you can use an existing EA
account here with your phone number or
email if you'd like to create an EA
account scroll down and select create an
account there I'm just going to use an
existing Origin account I have which was
the old name for the EA app once you've
signed in or created a new account for
the EA app to go ahead and download and
install the Sims 4 first thing we need
to do in the search bar at the top is
search The Sims 4.
we should see it right there select it
and as you can see this is a free to
play game so all we need to do is Select
download
then it's going to create the download
options here keep in mind it is just
under 20 Gigabytes you don't need to
change anything here so go ahead and
select next
and then download so now it's going to
download The Sims 4 to our PC and you
can see that here in the EA app now if
you ever need to check that all you need
to do is go back to the EA app select
home and then over here in the left
sidebar under installed games you should
see the Sims 4 being downloaded you can
also select it under my collection and
you'll see the Sims 4 right there then
once the Sims 4 is done downloading
it'll say finalizing and then it will
say download complete from there just
open up the EA app and in the left side
go to my collection then the Sims 4 and
all we need to do is select the little
play button here
and it'll start launching the game as
you can see the Sims 4 is now opening on
my PC or laptop then you can go in
create a new game go through the process
of creating your sim or customizing it
give your sim a name and then select
play you then select your world I'm just
going to select Willow Creek and now we
select our lot all right so that's how
you download and install the Sims 4 on a
