Kaden and today I'm bringing you a
tutorial on how to install the hidden
what we're gonna be doing is actually
installing it and guess what guys
it's free it's free it's such a great
game play it seriously you'll love it
anyway so in your steam account one of
the main things they want to do is first
go to library and then head over to
tools done and done now you what you'll
have to do is actually scroll down
towards you know source sdk base 2013 so
what you want to do is install note that
you know the amount of disk space needed
so it'll take a little bit to download
for those that aren't on a super-fast
connection but whatever let's go so do
you want to create a shortcut no no you
don't want to do any of that it doesn't
matter just go right through so it is
preparing the source files for installed
this may take a few minutes and steam is
now downloading etc etc so now all you
have to do is wait for this to actually
finish downloading it is 2.6 key but so
what I'm going to do is actually I'm
going to pause the video temporarily
until this is pretty much done I'll see
you guys soon
and we are pretty much back there's only
about a minute left and it's taken me
about seven eight minutes but mind you
my download speeds are actually pretty
good now when I first started playing
the hidden I didn't know about this I
actually purchased half-life 2 for this
when it was on sale and I was like oh
that's so awesome I get to play the
hidden well then a few my friends caught
on to it and they wanted to play and I
mean I have like five or six people that
play with me now regularly and I didn't
exactly want them to spend you know that
much money on something that they might
not even have enjoyed so I found this
method and it seems to actually work
fairly well now while this is happening
what we can do is actually just head
over to the hidden website so if you
just google the hidden it'll be hidden
source calm it even says that it's a
half-life to modification which is why I
was thinking hey I need half-life 2 but
no that's not necessary you only need
the source base 2006 so anyways
head over to download
click on any of these I really disliked
one of them actually doesn't even work
anymore but whatever I'm just gonna go
click on the first one you have to click
on some things it's kind of annoying
bubble but anyways just go download etc
etc click here to download etc etc just
download done mind you I had a block on
and flash block on so you might get some
annoying pop-ups and if that's the case
I do apologize but yeah now that this is
completed we're good to go it's kind of
simple you don't even have to worry
about it and I love my download speed
right now I really do I recently got a
new internet connection so I'm still
marveling at that I used to be at maybe
0.5 gone all the time I love this I
really really do anyway so with this all
you have to do is actually just install
this and you're not honest you just keep
on hitting the next button and after it
installs it's pretty much good to go
I'll actually just go through just in
case if there is anything that's a
little tricky but I mean the source
hitting is fairly decent mind you this
files from 2007 this project was kind of
dead for a while but a lot of the bigger
youtubers kind of revived it and I do
give props to people like seananners and
whatnot because without them not a lot
of people would have known about this
and before all that it was kind of like
a ghost town in the server list and now
it's revitalize and people love it so
much and I love it too I mean okay so
what 1.7 people there are 7,000 people
downloaded every single day now pretty
much and it's just great
anyways know that this is actually done
you just uh you know click run etc etc
and click I agree install and it just
goes through and it is pretty much done
for you kind of neat
now with this I have not noticed any
irregularities or anything and do note
that I'll show you in a second when I
switch back to steam I still do have
half-life 2 but I have not installed it
steam must be restarted to show up on
the games list yada yada and again I'm
going back to this if this happens it's
fine it's just because it's an older
file it just did yes this program
installed correctly you'll be
so keep note that these are grayed out
compared to the others so if I do this I
don't have this installed last time I
played it was you know just to see what
it was about
anyway so we're gonna close out of this
I will actually close out of steam
completely then head back into it
that's my Steam account if anybody wants
to add me
so going back to the library list and
now you'll note that there's ten games
so if you hit there you go
this will be right tail it's right there
so keep in mind you have to close out of
it from the taskbar and actually
right-click and exit then when you go
back in you'll be able to see this and
then you'll be able to play it's that
simple

hidden and play it for free you don't
even need half-life 2 that was a waste
mind you I don't mind having half-life 2
but you don't need half-life 2 to
actually play and enjoy this so until
