hello everyone how are you doing
this is mdtech here of another quick
tutorial in today's video I'm going to
show you guys how to download install
brother printer driver software onto
your computer so this should be a fairly
quick tutorial and we're gonna jump
right into it and we're gonna start by
opening up a web browser it doesn't
matter which one you choose to open I'm
gonna just open up Google Chrome here
and I'm gonna having it over to cool
calm and into Google you want to type in
brother printer drivers and you want to
search that up
and one of the best managers that's not
going to be an advertisement I have to
really stress that you're not clicking
on any advertisements here should be
from support that brother calm you want
to open up that hyperlink and now at
this point you can enter in your model
name of your printer it should be
clearly labeled somewhere on your
printer as well as on the box of the
printer if you just got the printer and
if you have any stickers on your printer
it will likely be on there as well so
just from this list here I'm gonna just
manually go find my printer so I'm gonna
select an inkjet printer here so just
the first one and then I'm going to
select the DCP one series and again it's
gonna depend on what you guys are using
will be a little bit different so I'm
gonna select this one oh boy this was
like a pretty old printer here but still
you can see it supports drivers all the
way up to Windows 10 and all the way
back to Windows 2000 so I'm gonna select
Windows 10 here click on search and I'm
gonna recommend downloading the full
driver and software package so you have
the ability to download the full driver
and software package as well as the
driver stand-alone down here I would
recommend you download the full software
package up here it is a little bit
bigger but I think it's worth it in the
long run so I'd recommend clicking on
the full driver and software package
you're gonna have to agree to the
end-user License Agreement down here and
then left click on this button to
download should begin the download
process because we bundled the software
installation with it it's going to take
about an extra 10 or 15 seconds to
download in my case so just don't put
that out there just be
we'll be a pretty quick process
nonetheless
you
and then once it's finished downloading
executable I'm gonna I'll just open it
up depending on what web browser you're
using it might look a little bit
different but the end result should be
the same I'd recommend you ensure the
publisher does say brother here and then
you want to select the Run button from
the window if you receive a user account
control window you want to select yes
underneath select language select the
drop-down menu and you want to go and
select put over your credit languages my
case that's going to be English so Eng
click on OK and now the process is going
to be a little bit different depending
on which printer driver you select so
just don't put that out there and if you
receive an end-user License Agreement
again so what yes
I'd recommend so I think the standard
type of installation here and then click
next one more time
and now it might be prompting you to
plug it into a USB cable so some of
these printers do not even have wireless
functionality but if you're running a
newer printer that does have the ability
you'll likely have one of their options
and this will be a different
installation process altogether so I'm
going to end this tutorial in this node
but I would recommend once you're done
following along with the on-screen
instructions and the directions that are
on the installation wizard I recommend
that you restart both your computer and
your printer device and hopefully
everything should be connected and up
and running for you guys so I do hope
