we have been out at aphrodite hills with
golf makes travel making some beginner
golf content and this is a bit of a
teaser for you so we're gonna see you've
just had your first ever golf lesson on
camera so that contents come in how do
you feel like it went alright
that's not bad I think you mean modestly
I think you went really well and we use
so I brought a section different clubs
out so we didn't hit the four iron but
we used these ones which is the Mizuno
MP 20 hm be so kind of hot metal blades
and if we look at that compared to the
club just giving you what do you think
so too for items see not from a golfing
background so I just want to know you're
in your terminology which is non golf in
what would you say this one's a hell of
a lot thinner and also smaller head to
me a smaller head butcher knife someone
say so guys the point of this video is
mainly just have a bit of a laugh and
have some fun and see if a beginner
golfer can play with bladed Mizuno MP
20mb irons has got to be said may look
skinny but they are the most sexy
islands known to man you've got to say
they look good can you so from again the
non golf in background beginner I mean
we're gonna say you have got a golfing
background now actually bought can you
tell a difference looking at those two
clubs because they do look quite similar
I don't know
I said the the blade is obviously a hell
of a lot thinner what about you know if
you just held them visually to look at
the back of them so if you look to maybe
the aesthetics of them I'm gonna go one
shiny ones not
yes clean hairs a little bit just with
the finish okay so what we'll do we're
not going to start with flooring because
that would be be evil to be fair that's
now you've had a lesson with the 8-iron
there so let's go a tie in mp 20mb and
let's see if you see a difference to
that initially probably get started down
you hit those comments below what level
do you think you need to be to play with
blades should it be going to learn to
play with blades rather than a game
improvement iron and then just pick up
the skill set that way I know a lot of
people do think obviously start with the
harder to use equipment and from there
obviously you've maybe become a better
player how do you feel looking down at
that there is not a lot to be fair it's
a good effort you see this is interested
and this is what I was expecting so in
the lesson I mean we'll be the first to
admit when it was bad it was it was bad
but you know when it was good when it
was good
you had no problem hitting in the middle
of that so that's sort of will be game
through my hand isn't going to help you
if you miss it is it will they spoil it
a montage of some of the the fun ones
breather no was when we were on it see
there so a game improvement iron isn't
gonna help that is it
do you feel less confident say if we go
to Agora hm be there if you look down at
that now and I take that back for a
second so try and hit me one with that
does it give you more confidence because
it's interesting that it's a long time
since I was a beginner so I can't really
remember do you feel different or no if
Nolan just say no it wasn't still a
great shot what I still got it moving
yeah it's still gone can 80 yards
doesn't it
great see see that shot there absolutely
ripped it nice bit of map interaction
after the shot so you took a bit of a
divot do that with a play he's ripped it
and that's interesting so there we
didn't see any shots like that in the
lesson did we ripped it how did the
strike feel the strike sounded pretty
amazing but because there's not a lot of
weight behind that head you caught it a
little bit toe it felt good sounded good
sounded as good as any golf strike
you're gonna hear really but it was a
bit of taupe as you can see here we've
got a mark on the toe of the club
that's where with the hmb as opposed to
the MB it's not gonna go left because
the face is still gonna gonna move a
little bit but apart from that it's not
going to be as far left so you're gonna
get a little bit more forgiveness with
this as opposed to the blade I think we
go a bit I think this could get a bit
more it is that's a 4-iron
so again completely gonna a 4-iron is a
longer shaft so longer leave this to a
longer lever designed to create more
ball speed which is obviously designed
to create more distance and obviously if
you look down at them what can you see
is the primary difference with the club
had this think of that word again
like this less loft less loft not the
Attic the loft because we're not in
America so now we're gonna hit we're
gonna hit HMV for iron and this is
interesting because its first time
you've ever hit for iron is it I take it
yeah so you can obviously stand a bit
further away this is where the beginner
lesson comes back into it as well give
yourself a bit more room good effort God
have you said how good do these things
look as well ah
not talking about you swimming to launch
it let's go because interestingly this
for I and the MB has more loft on it
yeah so it's less forgiving but it's
more traditionally lofted so let's see
if we can actually launch the bladed for
and as opposed to the more forgiving H
and B which I actually use I use this
HMV because I'm not good enough to use
the blade but you're using the blade
that means you're better than me
obviously when you're not you don't hit
it yet but see I mean airborne great
shot gone right blood doesn't matter how
your hands after that bit tingly because
it sounded a bit thin so when it sounds
thin means you've hit the ball kinda low
on the face ball towards the equator of
the ball and you get a bit of a
vibration up the shaft where is where as
that one would kind of dampen that a
little bit so imagine that imagine
hitting that playing in a December
morning Saturday morning 7:00 a.m. was
just turning light freezing
ah Bobby 4-6 wouldn't it definitely know
a difference will then what Paul the
wait mother no more forwarding to be
shot as opposed to leaning back in yeah
but and that's nothing to do the club is
an absolute you as a golfer learning
from your own mistakes so if we go let's
finish on one with that because the
question of this video is can a beginner
golf or use blades and I think we know
they're the answers obviously will yeah
it should be
what would you on should that be the
videos about you so I don't I don't
think you've lost anything with them
apart from maybe confidence because you
you've got the four iron up the ground
whereas with this hmb four iron which is
more forgiving
you've not got at the ground really of
you took for the four I met learnt it to
prefer so can a beginner golfer use
blades yes yeah should they're supposed
and it's a bit of a kind of open-ended
video this because now what you guys

in the MB pretty well you've got one out
there 160 yards which again we're gonna
go off a first day golfing whereas with
the HM be for I'm the more forgiving
look didn't get launched probably less
loft on there okay it's gonna come down
to how you how you hit that ball at that
