How to Center Your Title and Apply One-Inch Margins in Word 2016

Okay, to center the title of your essay, you can simply press the 'enter' key after
you type the due date, and then you can
type your title, and you can click anywhere in your title and on the 'Home'
tab in the paragraph section (This is the 'Center' button.) press the center button,
and that's all there is to it. Okay now to check the one-inch margins,
Microsoft Word does have a default one-inch margin all the way around, which
is what MLA requires; however, you should never submit your essay without first
checking that you do have one inch margins all the way around. So, I'm going to
simply press 'ctrl' 'a' [control + 'a'] to select my entire essay, and then in the my
'Layout' tab, I'm going to click on 'Margins,' and it does
say normal. I'm going to click it just in case, and it looks like I do have one-
inch margins all the way around. That's all there is to it.
