some people may notice that they had a
single tooth that's darker than all the
others there can be several reasons for
this so you might have had some trauma
to a tooth
perhaps the nerve is dead or they needs
root canal treatment so you need to see
your dentist to find out what the cause
of business the other thing that it
could be is that you've got a large
restoration that's discolored and large
filling in the tooth or a cavity in the
tooth you may or may not have
sensitivity but certainly this is
something that you should get
investigated before you start to your
tooth whitening journey say if you go to
your dentist and you decide the
procedure that you need is internal or
single tooth whitening this is quite
different to the normal whitening that
you'd have so what you would have is the
tooth is probably root canal treated new
dentists would drill a hole into the
back of the tooth to make an access
cavity for you to apply the gel
essentially it might be something like
this they imagine this is these your
teeth the back of the tooth there will
be a little hole in them you'd apply
some gel and or you'd be given some gel
to change usually every four hours over
a weekend you'd applied the gel directly
onto the back of the tooth and then you
would apply some gel just on the one
tray your custom tray for single tooth
whitening would look slightly different
to this because you'd probably only have
a single tooth on it and you apply some
gel to the front of that tooth and then
you wear that to the tray for four hours
every four hours then you would rinse
your mouth wash that gel out for the
access cavity on the back of the tooth
and then you would keep repeating the
procedure so say if you saw your dentist
is stop the procedure have you access
cavity drilled on the friday you'd
probably see them and away again on the
Monday and you'd make you know you'd
notice the difference over that period
of time
you
