Need up to 30 seconds to load.
you wanted to know how to get rid of
your post baby belly and there's a lot
of different things that go into this
post baby belly for one your abdominals
and your skin was stretched to the max
during pregnancy and so it does look a
little bit saggy afterwards and if you
had a c-section you have a scar that
needs time to heal in all it takes you
know several months to a year for that
incision to heal but it's going to look
a lot better by your baby's first
birthday there's also the uterus to
consider after your baby's born it's
still pretty big and it needs about six
weeks or so to cramp back down to its
pre pregnant size so when you come home
from the hospital you're still going to
look about five months pregnant because
the uterus is still kind of large so
expect that then expect some saggy skin
and stretch marks the stretch marks
unfortunately won't go away but
hopefully they'll fade with time and go
from being reddish in color to whitish
and a little bit less noticeable with
time as for saggy skin and strengthening
your abdominals you can start exercising
about six weeks after a vaginal delivery
or eight weeks after a c-section
basically just wait until you've gone
and seen your doctor for your postpartum
check and they've given you the green
light to begin exercising and once they
have and you can start to do exercises
that will both help you get rid of extra
fat source you develop during pregnancy
and also tone up your abdominal wall
again this is not just for aesthetics
this is actually functional and
necessary to and it's important to your
well-being because your back and your
core are what help you do many things
during the day and if you're if your abs
are shot and you don't do anything to
strengthen them that it's going to put a
lot of unnecessary strain on your back
and lead to back problems
as for the elasticity of skin over time
it will gradually in most cases start to
firm up a little bit but you know if
you've gained a lot of weight during
pregnancy and then you lose it all there
is the possibility that you will just
have some saggy skin and that's okay but
if you feel like it's excessive and you
know it's really bothersome to you then
you can talk with the doctor about it
and there may be some options available
for you they can discuss them and you
can make a decision about whether or not
you'd like to pursue those options again
the most important thing is to have
really
two key expectations you're not going to
look like your pre pregnant self two
months after your baby's born it took
you nine months to grow that baby and to
gain the extra weight and it could take
you just as long to get it off so do
what you can to eat healthy food and
exercise and just to take good care of
your body and to be healthy if you have
