number in that same group so let's go
ahead and do that to begin we'll need to
create a range so in this example let's
just say 1 2 3 and so on all the way
through 10 9 and 10
now next let's go ahead and calculate
the highest number we'll do that by

colon a 10 close parenthesis and as you
can see what we essentially did there
was select this entire range of numbers
let's press ENTER and it's given us back
10 and so now we know 1 through 10 the
highest number is going to be 10 now
let's calculate for the lowest number
we'll do that by pressing equals men
short for minimum open parenthesis and
this time let's drag and select our
range that way close Princess as you can
see it gave us that same range we'll go
ahead and press ENTER and so now we have
1 as the lowest number out of this
entire range so now in order to
calculate the range
we'll go equals b1 minus b2 return and
so our range from 1 through 10 is 9 and
that's how you calculate range
