and today we're learning about
multiplying dividing fractions and mixed
numbers and we're finding each quotient
so if I was given these fractions 1/2
divided by 8 over 7 and 1/2 divided by T
over 7 well dividing by a fraction I
don't like to do I like to multiply so
1/2 I convert this to be multiplication
instead of dividing 8 over 7 multiplying
7 over 8 so now I have 1/2 times 7 over
8 all right so now let's multiply these
out multiply across the numeric multiply
across the denominator 1 times 7 7 2
times 8 16 7 and 16 have no common
factor we can't simplify this in any way
so our final answer is just 7 over 16
