hey guys and welcome to another quick
tutorial today I'm going to show you how
you can find out your IP address on your
Apple Mac and the first way you can do
it is you can go to the Apple logo here
and then to System Preferences once
you're in system preferences you can go
to the network tab and when you're on
the network tap you can depending on
whether you want a wide connection or
Wi-Fi connection to select the the
active one or the one you want to find
the IP address of your computer on and
click on the Advanced tab here when you
on the Advanced tab you need to go to
tcp/ip and then your IP address will be
revealed here in the middle I'm
specifically looking for an IP version 4
address another way alternatives that
you can find it out is by going to a
terminal and which I'm going to bring up
a window here and when you're on
terminal you can type in ifconfig and it
will show you the configuration of all
of your network adapters and I have
quite a few here but the one you're
looking for for me for the my wireless
one is this one en 0 and you can see
here that my Ethernet address sorry my
IP address here on inet is one on two
ones they say 130 I hope that's music
