in this video it's gonna be about
connections and how to build depth in
your waves i but first started I want to
show everybody something that's kind of
like it's a little nasty it's a little
last thing I'm gonna keep it real right
now if I could be honest with everybody
and show you honesty but at the same
time this is motivation alright I got a
brush right here okay take a good look

ain't it fresh out of the bag so as

I've been a slack in this brush right
here this brush right here is called
well alright if you're brushing looking
like this you ain't really puttin
there's a time you ain't even give it a
grind
you ain't even putting the time in and
the grind in mixing them up and cooking
them up in the crock pot all y'all doing
it just sitting here wasting time and
not even putting in the work because if
the work was put in your brushes would
look like some of y'all is like you and
some others it just like you just plain
out yes
GZ I mean come on man they don't even
take all let's just wash your brush I
know the grind is real but just wash
your brush yet nasty oh you're nasty
but on the real you guys this just goes
to show you that I have been putting in

make sure that you wolf down I know you
guys were noticing that I was you know
having a lot of hair on my head during
the summer it's like man why do you have
no this hair on his head it's because I
was whooping trying to better my
connection and it's also a way to create
that in your waves alright I'll let you
grow your hair out you know you get them
deep waves then you cut it down to a 2
or in my case a 1.5 it just makes your
your waves that much more crisp fine
what you don't want to do is cut it too
low alright if you have my texture make
sure you tell your barber to cut it down
to a 2 the reason why I say 2 is to keep
it a little 3 so that you you know you
don't lose definition in my case I could
go down to this one point five because
my hair is so so trained that you know I
won't lose progress so what you guys
want to do after you basically got that
cut you want to go on a massive
recession we want to basically brush
like you've never brushed before alright
the time that you put in brushing out
here while you was wolf in this should
be double that when you cut it down
because what you're doing is stretching
your waves out and you see how my the
rolls are so even that's what it does on
you're stretching your waves out so that
each roll can be smooth are you on a
smooth transition and each one of your
ways and brushing on a French pad does
that for you so anytime you get a fresh
cut that's when that's that's when you
start brushing the most getting good
connections is about whoof in your hair
out you're not gonna get good connection
or you're not gonna at least get good
waves if you're not growing your hair
out all right whooping is growing your
hair out to like a certain amount to
extend to where your hair gets long and
you're just building connections during
the process most times coarse hair
wavers you guys can go for six weeks if
you have medium texture like myself I
could go for like eight weeks to you
know the longest I went with 11 weeks
and that it just betters your
connections man the whole time you're
you're only combing when your hair is
that that Wolf's stage you've got a lot
of hair on your hair you're only calling
on your whooping that's it I don't comb
when my hair is at this day you know
when it gets to like a three then I'll
start combing because what you want to
do you want to get down to that lower
level of your waves and make sure you
stretch that out to the top layer you're
not really trippin on the top layer
because you're cutting that off all
right so you use the comb to stretch the
bottom layer out making sure you get to
the bottom layer cuz that's more
important than the top the top like I
said it's coming off all right so don't
be focused on the top layer of your
waves you want to make sure you use that
hard brush and get down to your scalp

aren't you guys to sum it up getting
connections getting waves it's not that
deep it's just about the amount of work
that you're willing to put in it aren't
if your brushes is looking like this
another telling about his hands
you ain't really putting in that work
but it's your brushes start looking like
this but you know all right it's grown a
ton it's a nothing but dirt grit and
grime gravel and all that in this brush
I it's been dropped

real imma throw it in the garbage but
still this just represents hard work I I
just wanted to show you that and that's
