hey folks I'm going to show you a
tutorial on how to drag race really well
on the crew - so it's kind of a unique
discipline there's some unique mechanics
that you have to get down mainly the
shifting and the timing and it's all
about getting through the gears really
good in this particular discipline so
you're gonna see here as the race starts
you get three runs this is run number
one you have to get that meter in the
left little green bar for the eight
seconds within eight seconds you see how
I keep it in that little green bar on
the left okay so that gives me a perfect
burn and then as soon as we launch I'm
gonna be using full boosts full boost
shift with our one shift shift in the
green bar and then as soon as it gets to
the green bar shift again and then
you're boosting all the way through and
that'll get you to the finish well ahead
of your objective car so it's all about
Tommy I'm gonna show you guys again here
on the second run and third run exactly
what I'm talking about to try to make it
more clear cuz it was kind of difficult
for me to start out I messed up my first
two or three drag races just because I
couldn't figure out the timing but it's
really simple once you get the hang of
it I'll show you guys again so we're
gonna have that meter pop up we have to
Rev our engine into the green meter on
the left side you see right there three
seconds two seconds left we gotta just
keep it in there alright we did that we
got a perfect fuel burn now as soon as
we go we're boosting boosting out of the
gate shift up with our one shift with
our one as soon as it gets to the green
bar shift shift chip shift and then
perfect that was a good shift there at
the end and then as soon as you get
through the gears well you should be
able to power away from the objective if
you're not shifting well you just cannot
get away from them it seems like so it's
gonna be like an actual race but if you
can get through the gears you should be
able to pull away from the objective in
most cases so I was 1.2 seconds quicker
there top speed of 311 so just an
outstanding pace there we'll try one
more time I'll show you guys and
hopefully by now you get the hang of it
so you're revving your engine into that
little green bar just holding our -
alright so we're in that green bar just
top it keep it in there we got a perfect
fuel burn and then we're gonna boost and
shift with our one so we're boosting
shift green bar shift green bar
green bar shift with green bar and then
we just roll all the way down here and
we should be well above 300 miles an
hour as we get down here 305 310 311 and
then we finished so that was that's how
you drag race guys it's really simple
