here's my favorite way to add color to
your black and white paintings so there
is this layer Mode called color but it
kinda sucks the trick to make it work is
color variation check this out I like to
color the skin first so let's do that
together first I throw a color layer
with a light skin tone it kind of looks
like a plastic doll but don't worry
second step is to add some color
variation in the same color layer I
paint the cheeks a bit redder and the
arms and the legs a bit darker much
better third step is to add some color
balance for this one I make the Shadows
more red and the lights a bit more
yellow cool but it looks a bit
radioactive so the Final Touch is to put
the saturation down now we are talking
