hey welcome back guys so today on this
video we are talking about iPhones and
more specifically I'm going to answer a
question that I've gotten a lot recently
and that is how do you add Apple Care to
iPhone so let's go ahead and talk about
this first off guys this is going to be
a really quick video there's really not
too many steps involved so be sure to
stick around to the end of the video but
why would you want to add Apple Care to
your iPhone well that's pretty easy
these things are pretty expensive and
with AppleCare it does cover certain
things if you have an issue with your
phone whatever the case is it's a pretty
easy process it's all handled here in
the settings app it's this gear wheel
icon looking thing check my video
description I'll try to leave the
written instructions there as well but
I'm going to open up My Settings app now
okay guys I went ahead and opened up my
settings app before we go any further I
want to let you know that Apple Care
Unfortunately they do have a time frame
on when you can purchase this for your
iPhone so there's two ways to actually
sign up for this if it's available for
your iPhone so I'm going to show you
both ways the first way is once you open
up your settings app on your iPhone you
should see this right here towards the
top right above airplane mode it says
Apple Care Plus coverage available that
means that I do have Apple Care Plus
available to purchase this is not a free
service it also lets me know how many
days I have left in order to purchase
Apple Care coverage for my iPhone as you
can see I have 16 days remaining so
that's the first way you can add apple
plus care coverage on your iPhone the
second way is if you scroll down to this
line right here called General it has a
gear icon next to it click on that line
once you're in here you're going to see
another drop down menu but in order to
add Apple Care Plus to your iPhone you
want to click on this line right here
called about okay once you click in
there about halfway down there's going
to be a line called limited warranty if
you have Apple Care Plus coverage
available right underneath it will be
written in blue as you can see right
there and same thing it says I have 16
days left in order to purchase that for
my iPhone now if you want to go ahead
and add Apple Care to your iPhone just
click on this Blue Link or the one on
the other page we just looked at once
you click there it's going to give you
some more information about what
AppleCare plus is and in order to add
Apple Care to iPhones click on this blue
continue button right here so here are
the coverage plans that are available
for my iPhone the Apple Care Plus
coverage for your phone might be
different but for me it looks like it's
going to be about 270 or 200 one-time
fee if I choose to do so and here
they're going to list off the
differences between these two programs
it looks like this one covers theft and
loss and this one does not so I'm going
to go ahead and click on this one
AppleCare plus with theft and loss okay
so here I have two options so it's 1349
per month or I can just flat out pay for
two years and it would be 270 dollars so
if you want to add Apple Care Plus to
your iPhone you need to choose one of
these options so I'll go ahead and click
on the two years coverage next you want
to choose how you're going to pay for
this so you're going to want to put in
your full name your card number
expiration date and security code in
order to pay for your Apple Care Plus
coverage so there you have it guys if
