Need up to 30 seconds to load.
so now that we've got the fluid in there
I'll go ahead and I'll take a
screwdriver or something oh use my
finger because it hurt just the pressure
on the skin the skin would pinch so you
push in the plunger and watch these
lines if you will and you'll see that
fluid comes out and around you want to
be wearing eye protection or something
if you can see in the reservoir there's
bubbles that are coming up because
there's a bunch of air coming up from
the lines so I pause in between each
plunging so that air can escape from it
and then I just repeat the process I'll
put a hand here just a brace in case I
push out of the vise I've got my elbow
with my screwdriver and everything this
arm this elbow is against my hip and I'm
kind of leaning into it so it doesn't
make my arm tired because sometimes this
can take a while but you can see a
little bit of air goes out one wet way
and then some more the other way you
know meaning you need to go out from
when I push down and bubbles come out or
when I release like this it sucks the
fluid back in there that's why these
need to be below the level to get most
of all the air out this way but not
always all of the air after I install
this in the car I'll hook the lines up
here and then I'll have a lovely
assistant push a brake pedal down and
I'll crack this open and then close it
and then she'll let up on the pedal and
then I'll say push down I'll open it
while there's pressure and you'll see a
bubble the rest of it out this is
basically all there is to at the bench
bleeding a master cylinder you just
basically pump that wait for the air to
get high up into here and then once it's
up there then just let it back and just
repeat the process until you've remove
the air shorter hose is the shortest
that you can get away with it'll get up
in there the better these are a little
bit too long you know the stroke of the
plunger doesn't create enough volume of
fluid going in here to get all the air
pushed up and out
this is enough to give you an idea of
how this is to be done
