Sharing buttons:

Hi guys this is a quick video on how to get your CSM certification in this video

we will cover what CSM certification is what is the criteria and how to register

for the exam we will also look at the structure of the exam the questions and

the passing criteria hey welcome back so if you're wondering what CSM is it is

certified scrum master scrum masters are similar to project managers in the

traditional world but not really as commanding and authoritative because by

definition the scrum master is a servant leader so keep that in mind when you try

to attend the exam the great thing about CSM is you don't have to study or spend

hours reading books you can take a course over the weekend and then you

will be certified up to two days it's that simple so having a CSM

certification is good if you are in the market for agile project management or

if you're looking to manage scrum or Kanban projects these are agile projects

which are suitable for software development in these days agile is being

adopted by all industries irrespective of just software so if you want to get

CSM certification you can get it pretty quickly even if you're not a project

manager today or not a scrum master I would highly encourage you to still get

the certification so you can move into that space typically there is a two-day

training that you need to register to attend in person and by the end of the

second day you have online exam you don't have to go to any Prometric Center

you can be with the other people who attended the training and you

tindy all right the exam together so which is always a good thing it is

really really easy compared to any other exams I can guarantee that if you put in

the effort to go and attend the in-person training for CSM you would

definitely pass the exam that I'm 99% sure unless you really screw it up so

that is the good thing about CSM because you don't have to spend weeks or years

or month you just have to spend two days and voila you have the certificate and

personally I have not heard of anyone who failed the exam after attending the

in-person training so now let's see how to register for the exam so the first

step in the CSM certification is to familiarize yourself with this crumb

framework it's not that hard you can follow this link that I'm gonna put up

here and you can watch agile in ten minutes video it's pretty easy once you

watch that you will pretty much have the things that you need to know before

attending the in-person training so basically you register for the in-person

training and then you attend in person at that location which is select

typically you will have a two-day session eight of us each and the

training is provided by a certified scrum trainer you will get a

comprehensive view of the agile concept how to organize and support a scrum team

and after the course you will need to pass the exam which is an online exam so

it's not that hard so now let's talk about the exam structure so there are 35

questions and five of them are not scorable that is those five questions

are put in place for designing the next exams so out of the total 35 questions

only 30 will be measured and you have to score 80% to pass that means you have to

get 25 questions or 24 questions correct out of the 30 questions don't worry

about the high 80% chorong because for some reason if you

fail you still have two more attempts within the 90 calendar days after

attending the training now let's look at the exam structure the course is the

exam is broken down into four sections general roles meetings and artifacts and

most of the questions would be around the roles in agile for my tests I see

there were 21 questions out of 30 that was with respect to roles so it is

important for you to understand the rules of agile or in general scrum there

were seven questions on my exams that was under general topic four related to

meetings and three around the agile artifacts I'm saying this based on the

results that I see on the screen so I'm assuming that that's the way how exam is

structured you can see on the screen that I got 100% on general 90 percent on

the roles 75 percent on the other things so basically you don't have to score 80

percent in each section you just have to score 80 percent overall so guys just go

ahead and register for the exam and get your CSM certification that means you

have to get 25 questions or 24 questions correct out of the 30 questions don't

worry about the high eighty person scoring because for some reason if you

fail you still have two more attempts within the 90 calendar days half that

means you have to get 25 questions or 24 questions correct out of the 30

questions don't worry about the high 80 person scoring because for some reason

if you fail you still have two more attempts within the 90 calendar days

after attending the training now let's look at the exam structure the course is

the exam is broken down into four sections general roles meetings and

artifacts and most of the questions would be around the roles in agile for

my tests I see there were 21 questions out of 30

it was with respect to roles so it is important for you to understand the
