experiences has always been something I
truly enjoy being a driver's education
instructor and just brings that back
home for me they say that the three
biggest milestones in a person's life
are learning at a walk had a bike and
stepping into the car for the first time
to learn how to drive and just like
mothers fathers and siblings like you
too can be part of when these
life-changing moments as an all-star
driving instructor was introduced to
this profession through some old
co-workers and I've been teaching for
about ten years now a friend of mine
gave me information about all-star I was
like I think that's something that I can
do I'm a retired Michigan State Trooper
I coached football basketball and
baseball for at least about ten years
and I saw this as an opportunity to
extend that part of my life before I
started with Austar I was working in the
school system in the city of Detroit
when the students are behind the wheel
when they're learning about signals the
brake the celebrator from starting a car
they're so excited you see from step one
where they're nervous and then when you
get to step three of your drive they're
comfortable they're more relaxed they're
excited they're like oh yes I did it I
parked I love watching young people
succeed and for them this is a this is a
kind of a rite of passage they're on
their way to becoming drivers as a
driving instructor you really have a
huge impact on students I mean not only
are you teaching them safety but you're
helping them transition into adulthood

this is not just a job this is a
rewarding career and an educational
