hello everybody this is Dave for
president founder of the apt coach
Academy we are with Linda Walker one of
our outstanding graduates and also PCC
with ICF and Linda's done some great
things in the world of ADHD and we've
got you on your blend that we want to
ask first question you know what did the
active training do for you as a coach to
get you because you doing some wonderful
things what what did the agate ring do
for thank you the etiquette training
gave me first of all tools a lot of
tools to help my clients and to
understand my husband is anything I've
got a daughter youngest daughter who has
a movie and life has not always been so
easy some of the empathy is there it's
been there for a long time but now I
understood a lot more of the whole brain
wiring and all of these different tools
that I could use to help my clients it's
also given me with with your your help
and Barbara's the real self confidence
that I can go out there and coach people
and so that's pretty much and coach you
have done very successful yet I know in
Montreal there's not too many you names
bigger than Linda Walker in the coaching
realm and you've done a lot of you have
a wonderful book which I endorse and I
always forget the name of my ADHD yes oh
hi but in time to spare it was a book
that the time to spare the ultimate
guide to peak performance for
entrepreneurs adults with ADHD and other
creative geniuses I kind of pull them
together because a lot of people with a
be
don't even know they have it and they do
fit those those areas and it's really it
follows three case studies of mine
that's recline clients of mine through
their their struggles to having a
success in the coaching in through the
Radian and having a successful life and
it's a terrific book I highly recommend
it because it really does take you
through that process and I would be
remiss if not asking you to talk about
you know that you've all not only done
the coaching in the book but now you've
created this organization which I'm
proud to be part of ADHD hero so just so
the viewers a little bit about that
because I think it's such a great cause
thank you the HD heroes project was
something that I put on the back burner
and I found out actually after I started
talking to other coaches about it they
also had it on the back burner but it
was one of those things that I
recognized early on in my coaching
practice that a lot of people who have a
DD are resigned to living a difficult
life and struggling they think that
that's the only option that's there for
them and having the opportunity to hear
new model models of ADHD years who have
had success you know who struggled and
have had success can make quite a
difference if we look in the major
changes that have happened in the world
they often start with a model someone
who's who's come out of the closet and
and made quite bit different so this is
we've put together a website where
people are interviewed or not just been
you know people don't just speak about
them they're actually interviewed about
what what the struggle was what they've
done what was
pivotal point that got them to the point
where they are now successful so that
hopefully we can inspire give hope and
courage to other ADHD years whether
they're young or old to you know to be
okay with who they are and get self
acceptance just and Linda thank you so
much for being with us because here's a
tremendous example of someone who
doesn't have a PhD who really has
dedicated your life to educating those
who do and don't have it and improve
quality of your life and you really a
model that for so many people so thanks
for spending time with us get her book
coach with her fear in that area you
need somebody like that and thanks so
much for being with us
