hi everyone today I want to show you a
way that we can back up all the work
email to your personal email account so
basically if you have a work email in
Outlook Microsoft Outlook Exchange or in
office 365 Outlook you may use this
method to back up all your emails from
your work email address to the personal
to your own personal email address as a
demonstration purpose
I'm opening here a blank completely new
gmail account to demonstrate you how to
do it so let's start it first of all you
go to the right-hand side a setting here
you click on the button and it will show
you a drop-down menu now we go to
settings it will redirect you to the
settings page now under settings we go
to accounts and import inside these
selections here we choose import mail
and contacts and it will show you a pop
up menu so over here in step 1 sign into
your other email accounts so basically
just type your own work email address so
as a demonstration purpose I'm brewing
my work email address here but you can
type your own in the box here and after
you finish typing then you click on
continue now is checking your email and
now it gets you to the next step which
is to enter your password so here you
enter your password your work email
password and down below here the PIO p
username and pop3 you can just leave it
as it is usually you don't need to
adjust a change it and then you click
continue now it gets you to the second
step the second step is the import
options so there are four selections
the first one obviously we want to
import the mail so I have the checkbox
here if you would want to leave a copy
in your original work email address then
you give a check box so basically this
is just going to copy all the Mail's to
your personal email and also keep a copy
in your work email address the next
session is archived income messages and
because this is just an account that I'm
explicitly going to store all my work
email in my personal email so I'm going
to leave it blank and the last step here
at label to all the import mails so
again because this is explicitly just
for I my work email in my personal email
address so I'm gonna uncheck this but
however if you by any chance that you
would want to import your work email to
your own personal email address which
already has some personal email you may
consider to add labels so to identify
which one it's your work emails and
which one is your personal email so once
you finish all the selections you may
click the start import and then it gets
us to first step step 3 finished so
basically it will take several hours up
to one or two days it
hands-on how many work emails in your
email address that it takes time to
import and to copy to your gmail
accounts so I will just click OK and
make sure that we have to leave the Qi
mail account browser to be on so I would
suggest you to leave it on for a couple
hours to make sure that every single
email has been imported from your work
email address so now we go to inbox and
see if there is any message that has
already been imported so here we go we
can see that there are some mails that
are already been imported and so if you
would want to know like how long or
whether there are any more mails that
has been that is going to transfer to
your your Gmail then you can go to
follow the following steps so first
again you go to settings you go to
settings again and then here we see that
accounts I import again and down here
now we go to check email from other
accounts here you will see your email
your work email address and it will tell
you whether it's still fetching mails
from your work email address or not so
you can view the history and let's see
if there is any remaining emails in this
case I still have another 3490 mails so
once this is complete the whole process
complete it will say that there is sOooo
mail Co email remaining alright so again
probably this is going to take a few
hours or up to one day or two days to
import all the Mail's and this is just a
very simple way to have all your work
email to import to your personal email
accounts so thank you very much for
