hi there this is nickel from credited in
this video I'm going to show you how you
can backup your Firefox data and restore
most of the times you have lots of apps
and extensions installed in Firefox and
you want to backup it and restore it to
other PC or the same PC if you have
reformatted it this is my current
Firefox browser
as you can see I have only one extension
installed in him that is IDM I have
recently formatted my system and I want
to restore my previous Firefox data so
let me show you now first backup your
Firefox data open the unbound by
pressing windows R and go to an app data
once you are here you will be in the
roaming folder go to Mozilla folder then
to Firefox then to profiles this is the
file that you have to back up as I've
said I recently formatted my system so
I'll pick a backup so this is my
previous data so to restore it first I
need to copy this folder name that's it
I won't be needing this current data so
I will be deleting it but before that
make sure you close the Firefox browser
now and will delete it
copy your backup folder into the current
profile folder now we name the folder
the previous one now let's open Firefox
it will take just a few moments to
now as you can see these are the two
extensions that I've installed earlier
so got all my data back in this way we
can backup and restore our Firefox
