hey guys suck here from sake Tech in
today's video I show you guys how to
transfer all your contacts on your
iPhone to your Android smartphone so as
you can see I have three contacts over
here that I'm gonna transfer right over
to the actual Android smartphone and I
do want to clarify I'm only using three
contacts for demonstration you can use
the same method to transfer over a
thousand contacts if you want to this is
just gonna be for demonstration and of
course this method is going to be free
and it's gonna be very fast and all the
requirements for this method is your
smart phones and a computer whether
that's a PC or a Mac just to use your
browser alright so before I show you
that method really quickly just one
thing that you have to be aware of is
that all your contacts on your iPhone's
are backed into your iCloud / Apple
account and all the contacts on the
actual Android smartphone are backed up
to your Google / gmail account so the
transfer process is simply to transfer
the contacts from iCloud
to your Google account and they're gonna
pop right over here so there's only one
thing that you have to do with your
iPhone before we get started so all you
want to do is you want to go to the
settings you want to scroll down and you
want to go to your passwords and
accounts and then tap on iCloud and make
sure that your contacts are currently
syncing to your iCloud account for the
iPhone so in my case the button is
enabled so we're good to go that's how
simple it is now let's move on over to
my computer and then what's gonna happen
is magically all these contacts are
gonna appear right over here on the
Android smartphone alright so once you
get to your computer launch any web
browser that you want and the very first
thing you want to do is you want to go
to icloud.com
so type in icloud.com it's gonna take
you to the login screen just log in and
after you log in you're gonna see this
dashboard right over here so when you
see this dashboard just click on
contacts and that's gonna take you into
your iCloud contacts that are in sync
with your iPhone that you just saw a
couple seconds ago now here's the
context and what you
if you are on a PC all you wanna do is
press ctrl-a and that's going to select
all your contacts over here it's also
going to show that there have been
selected on this side as well and if you
are in fact on a Mac computer just press
command a instead of control a so once
all the context that you want are
selected all you want to do is go to
this button at the bottom here and just
click on it and then choose export vCard
so when you click on that it is going to
download all your contacts to your
computer so what's gonna happen is if
you go into your downloads folder which
I'm gonna pull up right now
you'll see all the contacts right here
in this format it's gonna say the name
of the first contact and however many
other contacts that you have so once you
have this file go back to your web
browser and this time simply go to
contacts dot google.com ok then click
enter it's gonna ask you to login as you
can see mine logged in automatically and
if you look over here says no contacts
yet so my Google contacts on my Google
account is completely clear now you may
have a couple of contacts here that's
not a problem you can still perform this
task so what you want to do is you want
to click on this button here that says
import contacts if you click on it it's
gonna say to import contacts select a
CSV or a vCard and that's what we have
we have a vCard file and all you're
going to do is click on select file go
into your downloads folder and choose
the file that we just downloaded the one
that we exported from the iCloud now
what we're gonna do is we are going to
import them into your Google so just
click open over here and click import
and boom within three seconds you're
gonna see all your contacts transferred
over from the iCloud to our Google
account now let's go back to the Android
smartphone and by clicking just one
button make all these contacts available
on the actual Android smartphone alright
so at this point you might actually see
the contacts pop right over as soon as
we did that import on our Google account
but if you do not see them you just have
to do one little thing ok so all you
want to do
you want to go to the settings and this
is gonna be a little bit different for
every smartphone every Android
smartphone because you might have a
different manufacturer but then what you
want to do is you want to look for the
section that says accounts and backup or
just accounts just go inside and then go
to the accounts and find the gmail
account or the Google account that you
use to make the import from iCloud to
Google now in my case it was sake tech
online at gmail.com so I'm gonna tap on
it and then I'm gonna tap on sync
accounts and as you can see all I have
to do is enable the contacts syncing so
once I do that it's just gonna take a
couple of seconds as you just saw and
the contacts are now on this phone so
let's go back to the actual or dialer
and boom they showed up right over here
1 2 3 1 2 3 and as you can see if I go
inside is the same exact thing so as you
can see it's a very easy process and
again I three contacts just for an
example but you can transfer thousands
of contacts this way it's fast and it's
free so if you do have any questions
comments or concerns just drop them down
below alright so if you found this video
