i'm back everyone you may be trying to
figure out how you can back up your
contacts on your iphone now there's a
couple different ways to do this the
easiest way that i would recommend doing
it and pretty much the only way you
should probably start doing it is to
back them up via icloud backup and then
restore them via icloud backup as well
so the way to do this like i mentioned
is very very easy what you can do is you
can make your way over to your settings
app like this and all you want to do is
go ahead and click on your icon up there
and you'll come into this specific page
now all you want to do is go and click
on icloud which is right here and you'll
basically come into this little panel
now right here basically up top you'll
see how much storage you have if you
pretty much have no storage left you're
going to have to delete some storage
contacts typically don't take up that
much storage even if you have like
thousands of contacts it doesn't really
take up that much torch so what you're
going to have to do is delete some
photos and videos and different things
like that from your icloud storage and
then at that point you can come down
here and you'll see this little contacts
icon now what you can do here is you can
go ahead and disable and enable that so
if this is disabled so this looks like
this what you're going to have to do is
go ahead and actually disable contacts i
don't even know why that pop-up came up
and then you can go ahead and enable it
now by enabling it what's going to
happen is that your contacts whatever
contacts you have here will now be
stored in the basically cloud so now if
you go ahead and buy another iphone and
if you go ahead and try to use those
contacts on that iphone well as you're
going through and setting up your other
iphone it'll go ahead and ask you do you
want to you know bring in your other
contacts or your data from your other
iphone and you just have to type in your
icloud email and password and then from
there you'll start to see your other
contacts come on your other iphone as
well and that's pretty much it like i
said that's the main way i'd recommend
backing it up now you can always back
them up via gmail and other you know if
you have a google account of some sort
or you can backup your contacts via
those applications as well you can also
do it with other con you know
applications in the app store too but
those are pretty much the main ways i
would recommend you know basically
packing up your contacts on your iphone
